Announcing New Series: MYTHING LINKS with Hephaistos Semyorka (Cheryl De Ciantis) and Lucida Skytower (Amy Lenzo) Via Zoom
Next Mything Links TBA, 10:00-11:00 AM PDT
This is a new monthly series on myth that combines a kick-off think-piece presentation with Q&A and discussion on the endless amazement of myth, and how myths “work” us psychically, culturally and creatively. Our current theme is: “What we didn’t know about the Greek myths of technology—and why it matters.” What does it mean that the Greek god of technology is a wounded god? What can ancient myths tell us about an ethics of technology for today and the future? Join us for that and more.

I use 24 antique, hand-hammered bowls, each carefully selected for the beauty of its signature musical note, over- and under-tones, sustained resonance and mutual entrainment with all of the bowls. The bowls can be placed around and on the body and struck and sung to produce transformatively meditative and healing harmonies based on sacred geometry, conscious intention and intuition This is an ancient tradition, that came from India to Tibet, and may well be more than a thousand years old. It is said the bowls are made from seven sacred metals, each with a unique vibratory signature, and created with spiritual intention by their makers. You both hear and feel their intense vibrations. They seem alive.
Tibetan singing bowls can be used for healing, personal alignment with highest Self. The bowls 'tell' me what to do to bring a person's energy field into balance and alignment with her or his deepest self and the cosmos. In ritual and ceremony, everyone present gains the benefit of the peaceful healing and energetic alignment the bowls bring.
