Two of Swords

The suit of Swords in the Tarot is about mind: intention, decision-making, the influences of both positive and negative thoughts on manifestation. The Two of Swords is Truce, the outcome of choosing between two ideas, two courses of action, two possibilities. For a reason I don’t yet know, Artemis showed up here, as did one of my favorite animals, the cougar. The goddess is gently holding back something unseen as she is addressed by the tumbling great cat. I’m in the process of leaving one cougar habitat, in the California coastal redwoods, for another, in the Sonoran Desert. The outcome of my decision? Ask me later!
