Dakini

The Dakini, or ‘sky-clad one,’ keeps coming back. She is fierce. Her blue sky is shunyata, both the perfect void and pure potentiality for manifestation. Her necklace is of diamonds and is based on the Julia Set, an expression of chaos.

This dakini gave me a hard time! She was very demanding. The original composition kept changing, and I kept having to re-collage and repaint until she came to a place that looked very different from where she had started. This piece will stay now as it is, but I’m fairly sure she’s not done with me.
