Art Work
I love patterns. I love connections. I enjoy being oblique. (Not sure you know what that word means? Don’t worry, neither do I. I’m always finding out.) At the same time, I am also working on being ever more straightforward, “spitting it out.” That will keep me busy for a while.
I invite you to view my work as if it were your own. I can’t possibly guess what it might or might not mean to you. (If I could, why bother? Then it’s just propaganda, or marketing, not art.)
My invitation to you: Enjoy. Think about what connections come up for you. What stories arise? What does it make you want to reflect on, or do? Hopefully, it will make you feel like you want to make your own art. (If that’s so, you might like to go to my site, Arting Around, for some technical tidbits.)
What I really like is following my nose. Sometimes it leads me over cliffs, but the worst I’ve ever gotten by stepping off was a badly skinned nose. Well, maybe worse, but it’s harder afterwards to remember the pain than the fun it was, or if it wasn’t fun, how much I learned (and am still learning).
My hero: Wile E. Coyote.
